In a recent update by Microsoft on 29th January, 2025, they have published that Microsoft has integrated the DeepSeek R1 AI model into its Azure AI Foundry and GitHub, expanding its diverse portfolio of over 1,800 AI models. DeepSeek R1 is now available on these platforms, providing businesses with access to a scalable, secure, and enterprise-ready environment. In addition to the cloud-based model, distilled versions of DeepSeek R1 will soon be available for Copilot+ PCs, optimized for devices powered by Snapdragon X and Intel Core Ultra 200V chipsets. These versions will allow for local processing while maintaining the core AI capabilities of DeepSeek R1.
